This is for "Strength", the illustration Friday assignment for this week...I wanted to do something about being stronger than your fears. I actually like the monsters, and I think the image is a bit cliche', but I may use the crumpled paper effect again.

Yes! You're right about the monsters - they have amazing potential... you should explore further with those scary little fellers - they deserve to be more than bit players. Love 'em!

The monster designs on the crumpled paper ( an effect I really like) kind of reminds me of a ghoulish sleeping bag lining. I love the glowing woman in the center...it's an effective image, and the colors work well. I really like your interpretation of this topic.
